Take A Promotion
Do you wake up in the morning with a huge smile on your face because you have to go to work? I didn’t think so as most people aren’t like Spongebob Squarepants, instead people in general cannot stand their jobs.
Life has been designed to be enjoyed, that’s how God made it. Even though many people haven’t prayed out what God has called them to do yet, the job is the stepping stone to the calling and that too should be enjoyed.
For most people enjoying their current job is literally impossible due to many different aspects namely finance and awkward shift hours. Usually small salaries stay the same yet rent, electricity rates, food and petrol prices steadily increase.
The truth is you don’t have to stay where you are. Just like you work to look after your family, our Heavenly Father looks after us His children.
A while ago I came across a Gold-nugget of a scripture which basically means it’s worth so much, not just to me alone but to the rest of the Body of Christ on the whole.
Let’s view this life – changing promise together. Psalms 75:6 – 7 (KJV); For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. (7) But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Praise the Lord! I love that scripture so much. Out of both verses the sentence that came alive to me the most was “And God IS the Judge!“ Isn’t that comforting to know that Dad is in full control even in the company you currently work for? It sure sounds great to me!
Instead of trying your utmost best to prove to your boss that you’re worth a promotion… ask Dad instead! Take Dad up on His offer found in Psalms 75:6 – 7. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much and will gladly give you the promotion you desire if you only show Him your Faith.
The scripture continues to say – He putteth down one and setteth up another, why do you think He does that? Does He demote people based on randomness? No! Does He demote people because they chose not to serve Him? No! Then why you might be thinking? It’s so simple. Not only does God love people but God is business minded! If you are the right man for the job, God will put you there and if you’re not, He’ll move you to where you are the perfect fit. Let’s settle this right now, God knows things!
God is going to look after His children and always prosper the company once His kids are in the right job at the right time. Instead of complaining about your current job, ask God right now for your new position based on our anchoring scripture and begin thanking Him.
It’s time for the Body of Christ to start living by Faith and setting an example to the rest of the world!
